METHOD · PLAIN LANGUAGE
How the receipts are checked.
What counts as evidence?
DA-Validator searches public Hacker News, GitHub, and Stack Exchange records for language that describes a problem. A source item stays linked to its original page so you can read the context yourself.
How repeats are counted
Duplicate source links, repeated records in the same parent thread, and near-identical text are collapsed before patterns are scored. The minimum is based on distinct public threads and distinct identifiable authors. A comment thread is not treated as several independent conversations.
Pain and commentary
Local text rules separate problem reports from commentary about a market or industry. GitHub planning and roadmap issues, pull requests, bots, and empty issue bodies are filtered out. These rules can miss context; open the linked originals to judge them.
Scores and trends
Scores sort observed frequency, recurrence, pain language, and source breadth in this sample. They are not probabilities, market size, or a forecast. Weekly counts use recorded collection timestamps; no points are invented or interpolated. Older published material is marked stale when its date is known.
Limits
Public source search has query limits and uneven coverage. An insufficient result means this scan did not establish the current evidence minimum. It does not prove that a market has no demand.
